Midland – Final Credits

The wait is finally over. After tantalising listeners with a taste of this potential nu-disco classic way back in his February debut Essential Mix, the time has come for Midland to release the third transmission on his ReGraded label.

Raised in Tasmania, educated in Leeds and residing in London, Midland’s music reflects the diversity of his background. Since his emergence in 2010 he has been known to dabble in everything from dubstep to disco, a true cross-electronic pioneer.

Final Credits will have dancefloors in frenzy this summer, burning slowly with a sample of Lee Alfred’s 1980 track Rockin-Poppin Full Tilting gaining momentum, before the vocals of Gladys Knight & the Pips’ 1972 classic Neither One of Us bring the track to a crescendo. ReGraded 3 is out today.
